The West stabilizer has been designed to eliminate chatter when thin discs are being machined. This device may also be used on discs of varied thicknesses and diameters. It is completely adjustable with spring loaded bronze plungers.
During factory tests, discs were machined regardless of thickness without the use of a chatterband. The bronze tips are replaceable and may be ordered separately.
